[April fool] Google Maps 8-bit Adventure!

OHH! It's April Fools!! I was wondering what will be the first prank i will get on today.  >v<

After i login my windows, i was attract by a very interesting post from my friend on facebook!

Eeee HMMMmm....!!? what happened to Google Maps? It looks familiar in some way! ^.^
Ohhh. It's looks exactly same with the old video games we play when we are small!!!

There was a promotion video (?) from Google.



HAHAHA.. That was a really big surprise from google and it's makes my day!

And i had browse through the Google Maps, it was awesome!!!! There are something i wanna share here! (^_^) I'm so exciting!!!

Firstly, please visit http://maps.google.com

 Switching view option on the top right corner of the map. There are Earth, Satelite and *Quest*!!

 Switching to *Quest* mode and here you are!!!!! the whole world has become a 8-bit world!

You also can click at  the Left Bar "Start Your Quest" to switching to *Quest* mode.

Now, START your Adventure now!

 Zoom in and i can see the 8-bit Twin Towers

The 2 kids standing there.. i'm not sure what are they doing there. 

Maybe it's something like NPC? :P

And surprisingly, Street-View had change to 8-bit as well!

(Due to Street-View is not available in Malaysia yet, I'd move myself to Japan!)

There are also some special characters/monsters appear somewhere in 8-bit world!

 There are roughly around 39 hidden characters/monters!

Let's go and Find it!! ^_^

MapsTD is a tower defence game built on Google Maps. Play anywhere in the world!

 

It will request you key in a place to start your game.

(something like where the hero was born? XD )

The right bar will hints you what to do to Defense!

Before youstart the game, u need to place the "house" icons to defense the "red cursor" army. LOL
Click on the house icon to upgrade the house (tower). XD
You can upgrade on tower range, power, and attack speed.

If you are not satisfied with the location you place ur house (tower), you can also Sell it and Rebuild it at better location!! :D That's awesome!!

BUT... this game does not has sound...
It's kinda boring after playing few round. :P
